Marangu route sometimes called the Coca-Cola Route because it is relatively easy. It is referred to as the tourist route due to the services available on the way to the summit. Unlike other routes, it is relatively easy, has low success rate because many unfit people attempt Kili trek via this route and fail, it is a popular route and accommodation is in huts. Many trekkers prefer it. It is also beautiful, the easiest and shortest route. Ascent and descent are done on the same path.

Join us on a journey of discovery, where every day promises new encounters and unforgettable moments. This itinerary can be customized to suit your needs and preferences.

Day 0: Arrival in Moshi

Arrive Kilimanjaro airport, pick up and transfer to Springlands hotel or similar hotel in Moshi for overnight.

Day 1 : Drive to Marangu Gate - hike to Mandara Hut

After breakfast, picked from Springlands hotel and drive to Marangu gate then hike to Mandara hut.

After the Lunch, you will have a trip to Prison Island Boat Trip,Visit Lloyd Mathew's Architecture built in 1893 and the Island is a home of Aldabra Giant Tortoises. Flanged by an amazing beach of reef sanctuary, the island is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and beach relaxation. After tours, you will be dropped off at your hotel overnight.

Day 2 : Mandara Huts - Horombo Huts

Mandara Huts (2,740 m/9,000 ft) to Horombo Huts (3,690 m/12,100 ft)11 km, 6-8 hours Heath land.

Day 3 : Horombo Huts - Kibo Huts

Horombo Huts(3,690 m/12,100 ft)to Kibo Huts (4,695 m/15,400 ft)10 km, 6-8 hours Alpine Desert.

Day 4 : Kibo Huts - Uhuru Peak - Horombo Huts

Summit Day! Kibo Huts4,695 m/15,400 ft)to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m/19,340 ft) to Horombo Huts (3,690 m/12,100 ft) 4 km up, 14 km down 10-15 hours Alpine Desert.

Day 5 : Horombo Huts - Marangu Gate - Moshi

Horombo Huts(3,690 m/12,100 ft)to Marangu Gate (1,830 m/6,000 ft) to Moshi (890 m/2,920 ft) 18 km, 5-7 hours: at Springlands hotel for overnight.

End of Trek.
